Valley Falls, RI, A Great Place to Raise a Family 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I adore Valley Falls, RI, it's a great place to raise a family. The people are friendly, kids play in the street while parents gather outside to talk. Neighbors look out for one another here. Valley Falls, is located in the larger town of Cumberland, RI.

It was a fun place to ...Read More grow up. While there isn't a ton of stuff to do within Valley Falls, it's Rhode Island, so everything is pretty close. Within about 1/2 and hour, you can be at Spring Lake, and in less than 15 minutes, you can be at the Twin River Casino. There are a few restaurants and bars here, and plenty more if you take the short drive to Providence. Valley Falls, RI, has a small town feel, but you have the benefit of being close to the larger cities and towns with all that they have to offer, including jobs, nightlife, beaches, and community events.

Winters here can get cold and snowy, but soon give way to gorgeous spring weather. Summers can get hot and humid, luckily, it's the Ocean State and beaches, and lakes are never far away. Fall brings with it stunning foliage and great weather. Read Less
