I have owned and lived in Toronto's Dufferin Grove neighbourhood for over 10-years, and still, to this day, I couldn't imagine being happier anywhere else! In the first many years of living in Toronto, I moved 9-times to various neighbourhoods far and wide. None has come even clo ...Read More
se to offering all that Dufferin Grove has. All solid 10-out-of-10 - from fabulous neighbours and beautiful streets & homes to eclectic lifestyles, parks, restaurants, shops, and more! And all that combined with easy access to 2 subway stations (Dufferin & Ossington) and countless buses, streetcars, clean sidewalks & cheap parking, thereby making this an extraordinarily accessible place to live. (Without exaggeration, I can get to almost anywhere in the City within 15-minutes of driving or less.) In addition to great schools, world-class dining in nearby Ossington Village and beyond, excellent arts & cultural facilities & events, and cool shops on Bloor St and nearby College Street, you genuinely cannot ask for much more. If I had to say one negative thing about the neighbourhood (and this more for others than for me), with the average listing price hovering around $2.2 million, it is not the inexpensive place I moved to nearly 2-decades ago. In fact, it is now among some of the most expensive & coolest neighbourhoods in the world, as proclaimed by publications like TimeOUT, the New York Times, and Vogue, to name a few. More importantly, this has become one of my most consistently happy places. In a word, HOME.
