Little Step Closer to Paradise! User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I moved to The Crossings, Florida because I could not afford a house in Miami. Living in The Crossings is the best of both worlds because I get to enjoy all the amenities of the coast, then slip home to my quiet neighborhood. The best areas in The Crossings include endless parks and nature preserves. I can spend the day bird watching, taking alligator tours in an airboat, or wandering the Art Deco district. The restaurants in The Crossings are exceptional, and the seafood is brought into these locations right off the shrimp boats.

I can be in Homestead in a few minutes or plan for a day in Key West along the scenic Seven Mile Bridge. I am far enough away from the tourists from Miami, but close enough to enough those white-sand beaches any time I like in minutes. Read Less
