They say everything is bigger in Texas and that's true to a degree, but living in Texarkana, Texas I can attest that there are still small humble places in existence there. The sun is still gigantic in Texarkana though and so are people's hearts. The weather is usually beautiful ...Read More
which is fortunate because there is not an overwhelming amount of places to visit. However there are a few worthwhile places such as the Museum of Regional History and especially if you have children, check out Discovery Place.
Texarkana is a great place to live if you are interested in minding your own business. The cost of living is lower than average and the graduation rate is high, but crime is also surprisingly high. Housing can be expensive and careers can be difficult to obtain, so working from home would be wise to do if possible. There is the random tumbleweed moseying through, but much of the scenery is lovely to check out.
