Lovely Rural Summerfield, N.C. User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I was raised in Greensboro, N.C., with friends living in Summerfield. When I got married, I decided to raise my family in Summerfield. There is not much shopping in the area, but Greensboro is just minutes away and offers everything anyone would need. There are farms in the area, ...Read More as well as, a local golf course. If you like freshly milled grains, there is a working grist mill on NC68 that can supply you.

The town of Summerfield is located just minutes away from Greensboro's International Airport. The living is quiet in this area with a low crime rate and good schools. There is not a central downtown area. The housing can be pricey due to the development spread from Greensboro. It is considered a very desirable place to live with private estates dotting the region. One of the biggest annual draws is the Summerfield Horse Show in the spring. The weather has four seasons but is mild except for the humidity in the summertime. Read Less
