The 90th Safest city in Ohio and the greatest. 5 rating By Big Bobby J ( Mar 12, 2014) I love Streetsboro. I have lived there for 5 years and its been the best five years that I have lived in a city. There were a few times I had to call the police about some noisy numbers at 3:00 in the morning, but the police handle it very well. When my Dad got sick and had to ...Read More call 912 they were there fast. Like my grandma got hurt then passing away they were there fast. And then When my Mom fell outside and had to call the again they were fast. People are really nice and friendly there. We have lots of stores and fast food places within one to five miles from were you live. We have are own library that is great. Great schools. That's why were are ranked 90th out of the whole state of Ohio by areavibs. Ranked 2nd by the the state, and ranked 1300th out of the the whole USA..That's what I really think about Streetsboro and its the truth. Read Less

Low cost convenient area but not real glitzy 2.5 rating By traveler ( Nov 01, 2013) Friendly people, as you'll generally find in NE Ohio. Seems to be an area that attracts a lot of out-of-towners (including me a few years ago), so there is a nice mix of homers and new folks.

Housing is cheap here (and much of it is relatively new) compared to neighboring area ...Read More s, but the schools are much, much worse.

They've added some shopping in recent years, a smattering of shops but nothing mall-like. Most restaurants are fast food (classic turnpike stop food), not much high class.

Very conveniently located - access to Turnpike, I-480 (to Cleveland), etc.

Very safe area.

Kent State is 15 minutes away.

Overall not a bad place, but if you have kids watch out for the poor school district ratings. Read Less
