Stephenville might come off as a small town with down home southern charm, but it is anything but that. Good majority of people here are impatient, self entitled, and overall lack a good moral compass. If you look at the crime rate in Stephenville it is pretty high for a small t ...Read More
own. You will either have your car burglarized or your house. Anywhere you chose to live in Stephenville you are going to have neighbors hooting and hollering all night. The people of stephenville sure do love to drink. There are a lot of car accidents especially in front of walmart. Not enough youth activities outside of sports. Not too many job opportunities for women.
The major plus for Stephenville is the public school system. The administration and teachers have been spot on. It is also nice having 2 places for higher education. Somewhat descent restaurant selection. Shopping is pretty good for a small town like Stephenville, but plan to make a few trips each year to Dallas to go to bigger retail stores.
Overall I would recommend moving to Stephenville if you love to party, love local sports, and love living in small towns.

museum is near great places to eat. You can also do some shopping at Not Too Shabby, where you'll find clothing and specialty items that are unique to the area. You can also catch a movie with family and friends at Cinemark Cinemas in the area. The Hideaway Ranch is also an ideal attraction, especially if you want to spend time outdoors and learning how to ride horses.
Splashville is another local attraction where you can enjoy water games and swimming to help you beat the Texas heat. After spending some time at the water park, you and your friends can head over to PT's Prime Time for delicious food and drinks to end the night.
