Living in the west suburbs offered a multitude of amenities and nightlife activities. The city of over 33,000 in population is about 40 miles west of glitzy Chicago. One of the best things ab ...Read More out St. Charles is that it has the appeal of the big city without the hassle. It is a remarkably beautiful town to raise a family.

St. Charles sits amidst the Fox River, a tributary of the Illinois River. It has numerous amenities, top rated schools, as well as a stable housing market. I love that St. Charles offers diverse employment opportunities for well-educated individuals as well as blue-collar specialists. Crime rates are comparatively low in the suburban and neighboring regions.

Some of the best areas in St. Charles are the Underground Railroad and the 40-mile Fox River Trail. Both attractions offer rich history as well as authenticity. Most sightseeing and events can be enjoyed in warmer months June, July, and August. Read Less
