ave to be the stunningly beautiful beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. My two favorites are Caspersen Beach and Manasota Key Beach. North Manasota Key Road is perfect for walking, jogging, and biking. The South Venice Beach Ferry is a great ride we take when family visits so they get to see the barrier island like never before.
When the sun sets, we take the drive to Venice and then enjoy everything from the best dining to the craziest nightlife on the west coast of Florida. We have a municipal airport only miles from my house, one of the quietest airports in the country within a few miles of my sleepy neighborhood.
