South Milwaukee Review User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( Nov 20, 2023) South Milwaukee is very quiet and very residential. It’s not a big bustling city and that’s why I love it. As for the community itself, it is mostly average. Like many suburbs of Milwaukee, it has its good and bad parts. In recent years, the city has seen an increase in petty crime. With that being said, this kind of criminal activity is in more isolated parts of South Milwaukee and is usually not a problem for most residents. The police are tackling this issue as best as they can and they keep the people of South Milwaukee informed of anything that they need to know to stay safe.

Overall, South Milwaukee is a decent place to live. Some neighborhoods are excellent for raising a family, however, if you're looking for an even safer option and want to avoid city traffic and slowly declining public schools, you'd be better off taking your family elsewhere. Read Less
