Things to Do in Smithtown, NY 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) Smithtown offers lots of outdoor activities and opportunities to learn about the history of the area. You'll also be close to the metropolitan area of New York, where there is a wealth of cultural and educational attractions to enjoy.

Avalon Park and Reserve is a wonderful plac ...Read More e to visit if you want to spend time outdoors and like learning more about the natural wildlife in the area. There are also plenty of walking trails in the area, or you can enjoy a picnic by the lake. Caleb Smith State Park is another ideal place to get some fresh air, take a walk by the water or find shade under the many trees that are native to the area.

Harmony Vineyards is great when you want to take a wine tour, learn about the local vineyards and sample some of the best wines the state has to offer. You can also finish off the night with friends by visiting unique attractions like Padlocked Inc, which offers a number of room escape games that are both challenging and entertaining. Read Less
