Affordable Homes For Family Living 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) What attracted me first to Shaker Heughts was the school system. Nothing but high praise for the work they do in preparing our children for success. There’s always something going on around the community, especially at the library. They’ll host ice cream socials, which I thin ...Read More k are a wonderful family event to take part in.

The community itself is very diverse, and people really show an interest in the experiences of others. One of the most welcoming places I’ve lived so far. You can easily take your dog out for a walk without worrying about safety. The police are always on patrol to better keep the community safe, it’s a great and reassuring feeling.

Another thing is the housing market. Very easy to find a place to move into, though, some work my be needed. What I’ve found most common is the need for electric systems to be updated. In the end, it’s well worth it for a new family or a growing one looking for a diverse and inclusive community. Read Less
