Small Town Indiana User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) Living in Schererville, close knite community, it’s a small town outside of a major city. It was a nice place to grow up, but there’s nothing to really do outside of a few good restaurants, decent shopping centers and average travel times of about twenty minutes. There’s lo ...Read More ts of traffic, because US 30 and US 20 cross, two major roadways, making commutes a little on the difficult side, but doable with patience.

The school system isn’t the best, compared to other districts near by, they’ve used pretty much the same system since they started. There is also a bit of a drug issue inside of school, which hurts crime rates, but not enough to make the town unsafe.

Shererville is filled with friendly and diverse people, and the town is growing. So much so that there are two seasons, construction and winter. It is an sant and quite town, where word gets around in the 19 years I lived there. Read Less
