Sachse is a small city northeast of Dallas. I lived here briefly but found myself routinely bored and decided to leave. It's a nice city when it comes to quality of life and the homes are affordable, but there is very little to do here for recreation.

is better suited for older people looking for an inexpensive place to retire. There are few stores and just a handful of restaurants. If you're looking for a big mall or some fine dining, you'll have to drive to a neighboring town to find it.
I did, however, enjoy the parks here. I have a small dog and frequently visited Breckenridge Park, which I think is the best area in Sachse. There are some small rivers and a pond there which makes for a fun afternoon. If you're looking for an exciting city, look elsewhere. If you enjoy a quiet but comfortable town, Sachse might be for you.
