Affordable, family friendly neighborhood User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( Jun 05, 2019) I have lived in Reynoldsburg for 20+ years. This area is one of the most family friendly suburbs in the Columbus metro area. Housing is very affordable, whether you choose to buy or rent. There is a mix of housing from 1940-1950's era homes to brand new builds. Neighborhoods are ...Read More filled with singles, empty-nesters, and growing families. There are sidewalks throughout the city, neighborhood schools and churches, and a variety of parks. The schools are very good; there are 2 high schools (one is a STEM academy), a newer Junior high and middle school, and updated elementary schools. There also is a local parochial elementary school. Public transportation is accessible. There are local and chain restaurants, and plenty of retail outlets. A new YMCA is under construction. Overall, this is an affordable, family friendly area with a strong sense of community. Read Less

If you work in those fields or are ...Read More working on a degree, you'll enjoy the city.

As far as renting an apartment or buying a home, it's very affordable. You'll be able to live comfortably without having to break your bank account, which gives you more freedom to enjoy the city. You can play a round of golf at Blacklick Woods Metro Golf, for instance.

There's also enough places to go shopping in Reynoldsburg without having to drive far. For example, there's a Walmart supercenter downtown so you can get a lot of your shopping done in one place. Overall, I have to say that I'm very happy with the reasonable cost of living and great job opportunities in Reynoldsburg. Read Less
