Whether you're looking for outdoor attractions or you want to learn more about the history of the city, here are a few things you can plan with your friends and family.

You can also Locust Grove Estate, which is a nature preserve and museum that teaches you more about the history of Poughkeepsie and surrounding areas. Sprout Creek Farm is another family-friendly location you can take advantage of if you want to see wild animals up close and in a safe environment.
