Portage, WI: Beautiful, Natural Scenery and Wildlife 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) In my opinion, Portage, Wisconsin is a little slice of pure Heaven. My family and I have been living in Portage for 11 years and we couldn't imagine living anywhere else. It is one of the very best areas in the entire state. Everything about this place is beautiful, from the natu ...Read More ral scenery to the man-made attractions to the people who make up this fine community. We are very proud of our schools, our neighborhoods, and the people we are privileged to call our friends and neighbors. We take pride in keeping our community nice, and we very much enjoy meeting new friends whether they are just passing through or looking to put down some roots here.

For fun and entertainment we have the Great Wolf Lodge, the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center, Elusive Escapes escape rooms and games, my family's personal favorite, Mount Olympus Waterpark and Theme Park Resort, and Bigfoot Zipline Tours for those who are a bit more adventurous. Come visit Portage and just see if you don't fall in love with this amazing place as well! Read Less
