Decent City, But Weather Can Be An Issue User Rating 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Living in Port Neches, TX was a good experience overall. There is some city life here and some agriculture. There is not a lot of diversity compared to other cities nearby. There are lots of places to fish and some nice beaches that you can go to and relax at. There is a ton of o ...Read More utdoor recreation here, which I can always appreciate as entertainment is important to me and my family when we are living in a new city. The cost of living here is also extremely cheap, so if you are looking for an affordable and cheap home, this is the place to consider.

The best places in Port Neches, TX is downtown area of Port Neches, TX. They have a really good seafood place called Bruce’s Seafood Deli. They serve affordable Cajun and Creole dishes that tasted amazing. In addition, there is some diversity here in restaurants that I can also appreciate. The only bad thing about this city is the weather. The weather can be very hot and humid. In addition, there are hurricanes that occur more often than other cities. Read Less
