Peebles Ohio Corrupt Government 0.5 rating By clw6690 ( May 10, 2012) I have to agree with the last review of Peebles Ohio. I have lived here for 20 yrs and I use to love it. I loved Adams County the hills are just magical. But Now living here is a complete nightmare. The Chief of Police of our town presently has only been on the force for a ab ...Read More out a year and a half. The Mayor presently is an idiot that has almost all of his family working (and getting paid from our tax money) in city government. I am presently working with FBI and officials in the state capital to investigate this town and its town officials. We only have one full time cop and its the Chief. What is the use of just one 8 hr a day cop? He cannot even patrol the town because the Mayor has him running errands for him. Citizens of this town are not safe since the drug epidemic has exploded. The mayor refuses to talk with citizens and is so old we are hoping he drops dead any day. My advice is stay away from this area until the corruption is taken care of. West Union was investigated and many of the attorney's and Judges were drug addicts and were a disgrace to their professions...but afterwards a new set of idiots took over and its just about the same as what it was 5 years ago. Remember anyone can be a police officer and anyone can take office this does not mean they are competent to do the job. Maybe with the investigation we can get better individuals into the positions in our government and city offices, but in the mean time I am working on relocating to an area where I can feel safe and seure!! Peebles Is An Evil Wicked Corrupt Town 0.5 rating By jcm2122001 ( Dec 05, 2011) i grew up in peebles and i honestly cannot find one single good thing to say about it. From all outward appearances peebles is a pleasant little place where everyone waves and says hello but when you get past the facade you find a different story. I have not a single friend left ...Read More in peebles every single one of them has stabbed me in the back at one point or another, usually over women sometimes over money. Most of the people of peebles are homophobics, racists, and they are cruel to animals.

Many of the businesses of the area are run in an unproffessional manner, for example one mechanic I dealt with had my car for over a month, when i walked in and asked about, he CRAWLED OUT FROM UNDER HIS RACE CAR and said he hadnt had time to fix my car (that i needed to get to my job). The police force of peebles are trigger happy, recently my fathers friend from another county was passing through on st rt 32 which isnt even in peebles jurisdiction, the peebles gestapo pulled him over and cited him for TWO(2)mph. Drug use and manufacture is also rampant in the area in general.

I would like to close by stating that i have lived, worked and spent time in several different places, cincinnati being one and I consider peebles to be the worst, I have met the worst people, recieved the worst service, and generally been treated the worst in peebles of everywhere I've been.
