Upper Middle-Class Near the City User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Palos Hills, Illinois is a suburb of Chicago located to the southwest of the city. Palos Hills boasts itself as a family-centered, quaint, and welcoming community. The city itself is definitely geared more towards the upper middle-class with the high-priced homes that line Palos ...Read More Hills' neighborhoods. The public school system is great with a low student to teacher ratio that is perfect for students and is the envy of Chicago Public Schools.

Palos Hills has an entirely average scene when it comes to shopping, dining and nightlife. The city is, however, close to many diverse options in other suburbs or in Chicago itself when it comes to these things, which means it is never much of a problem for any of the residents. The city is also home to Moraine Valley Community College which establishes it as somewhat of a college town, though locals argue it is a safer community and not rowdy like you'd find at a more city-based college.

Overall, Palos Hills is a great place to raise a family and is a wonderful option for anyone looking to settle down in a safe and welcoming suburb of Chicago. Read Less
