Palos Heights Illinois: The True Beauty of Chicago User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I experienced amazing moments while living in Palos Heights Illinois. The city is in Cook County. Palos Heights is close to Mount Greenwood Chicago. The town is split into three districts and includes a multitude of different neighborhood communities. Palos Heights has a fair mix ...Read More of public, private, and college facilities. The teachers are astute and always helpful. The town serves Trinity Christian College and also is known for initiating the New International Version (NIV) of the Holy Bible. The area is upscale, so the cost of living is expensive but there is no crime and the housing market is reasonable. I like the weather here. On average, there are about 3 strong months of warm climates.

Some of the best areas in Palos Heights Illinois surround Lake Katherine Nature Center. The area has boating, biking, and scenic forest preserves. The town has so many different and distinct communities, it's easy to make a wealth of friends and acquaintances. The town has beautiful viewpoints. It is very well kept and Palos Heights has very friendly people. Read Less
