The community sits at about 22,000 people. The cost of living is about sixteen percent lower than the rest of the United States, which for Florida, makes Palm River-Clair Mel, Florida a great place to retire to or relocate to. There is a lot to do when it comes to dining out, shopping and enjoying a night out on the town. Currently, real estate is booming and it is very easy to find a good quality home in the area that you want to live in. Definitely not just a retirement area, this is a great place to raise a family.
