MUST say was not impressed with this area of Florida... 1.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jun 12, 2021) Advertising that says close to beach - much to do about nothing. Not close to any airports...street just ended and went no where. YOU would have to live here for years to know how to get around. Lots of small neighborhoods and everyone seems to be obsessed with their property. ...Read More Saw lots and lots of people outside working on yards, garages and sidewalks. Of course most of them did not look like landscape people they were owners. So unless you are ready to keep your yard up to their standards you would not fit into the neighborhood. Did not see any REST and the one we choose...I WILL NOT MENTION ...the food was an assault to my digestive system...Thank Heavens we had planned only a stop over, so we did not have to look for a HOTEL. Not impressed with Palm Coast at all! 2.5 rating By kattzzz ( Aug 17, 2017) It's a maze of subdivisions. Might be nice for kids, but roads are blocked off and gps didn't know it. Finally found the place to look at some Harley shirts, didn't buy, got lost trying to get out. Wanted to send us on a toll road??? Seriously? Pay to get to I-95!? Finally made i ...Read More t back to A1A and got the hell out...lol with the population growing by 5k every couple of years, it's just going to get worse. Glad I don't live there. Yeah, whole neighborhoods with the Letter C for blocks and blocks...terrible. I'll stick with living out in the woods. Read Less
Palm Coast's Blend of Suburban Simplicity and Beach Living 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( Feb 17, 2015) Palm Coast is a very classic town in a lot of ways. I went to High School and lived in Palm Coast, so I ended up spending those golden years of my youth learning how to drive down the lettered neighborhoods and small fast food chains that help make up the old town center.

Palm
...Read More Coast is not necessarily a culturally rich town, so those expecting museums rounding the block or some real varied independent restaurants and shops may be disappointed. But Palm Coast is unique in that it captures a lot of that appealingly quaint suburban life, but it has the beach within 10 miles to add some additional Florida living charm. Palm Coast has a section in its Northern coast known as the Hammocks. This luxurious region features some enchanting homes and legitimate castle architectures. I use to like this aspect, and if I did choose to live in palm Coast again, I would take more visits to the luxury beach end of the city.

The old town center has circled by a Wal-Mart and some traditional shops and restaurants. In the last few years, the city developed a new town center. It circles around an expansive and beautiful lake, and features a section that bridges the two opposing sides of Palm Coast that used to be reached with one single road.

The cultural centerpiece is not located in the center, but it holds Palm Coast's heart. This is known as European Village. The Village has seen some rough economic times, but the ambiance is well intact. It is a classically designed triangle of pizza shops and ice cream bistros with a sensational lake view. The best feature of Palm Coast is its close proximity to Marine Land- a relatively small place where visitors can swim with dolphins in a quiet and intimate pool. Read Less
