I Pay How Much To Fear Going Downtown? 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Living in Overlea, MD is... interesting. We do have lots of great amenities around town to offer in terms of restaurants, shopping, and other great things available to us. Beyond that? Employment is just okay and the weather is pretty decent most of the time, but nothing extraord ...Read More inary.

Here’s where it starts to go downhill for living in this area. Housing is very optionless everything is bland and way too expensive for what is here. Education is completely awful. If you’re planning on raising a family then I recommend searching for other areas nearby that may offer better education options and better test scores. Lastly, but most importantly, crime rate is really high. For how much I pay to live here I wish I could feel more secure in my own home and when going downtown. I can’t wait until my work relocates me somewhere else. Living here is nothing special, and considering the crime rate and poor education I would imagine cost of living wouldn’t be as much as it is.
