I grew up in Oskaloosa and came back here after attending college and I wouldn't have it any other way. This is a family friendly community with several different things to do, no matter what time of the year it is.

f the seasons. Summertime is especially grand here as we have a parade and fireworks in July, several street festivals with lots of music, and a carnival comes to town too! We have several different parks for the kids to spend the day playing at, or camping locations where you can hike and fish as well if you choose.
The school district here is great and the teachers really listen to the parents concerns and goals for their children. And the job market is expanding no matter what type of job you are looking for.
Living here is really great, it's a happy, friendly place that I am very proud to call home!
