Oregon, OH is a Great Family Place 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) This will be my family's 31st year living in Oregon, Ohio, and we love it here. We have watched it grow from a little Toledo suburb on Lake Erie to a nice-sized city, close enough to the big city without being right in the middle of it all. The weather here is pretty good, typica ...Read More l Ohio (read: unpredictable!), and the people are the best you'll find anywhere. There are a lot of "old" families here, like us, and there are also many new ones just putting down roots. The schools are great and Toledo offers something career-wise for everyone.

There's a lot to do here for both family fun and grownup time. The Toledo Zoo is one of the best areas to visit. It has just about any animal you can imagine and is fun for the whole family. We also have the Imagination Station, a science center with lots of interactive exhibits for the kids to learn and explore. Adults enjoy visiting the Hollywood Casino Toledo or an evening with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. We are very happy here and recommend it to anyone. Read Less
