I have spent summers in Ocean Pines for decades. It has a unique mix of rural wilderness and water access. Unlike many larger cities where space is tight parking in Ocean Pines is easy.

Ocean Pines is the small sister city to Ocean City, but Ocean Pines has many advantages. Renting and purchasing homes in Ocean Pines is much cheaper. There is also a lot of new construction that you just don’t see in Ocean City. Also, Ocean Pines does not suffer from the crime and nuisance issues that people have to put up with in Ocean City. But if you want to go to the beach or Ocean City, it is only a short drive or bus ride away. Read Less
