Northbrook, OH Needs Some Serious TLC User Rating 2.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) While it is extremely important for any city to have a strong school system, it is equally important for it to have more than just that to recommend it. Unfortunately Northbrook, OH just doesn't make the cut. I have been living in Northbrook for 11 years and I have seen it go fro ...Read More m one of the best areas in the entire state to one of the most run-down and neglected. The crime rate alone is enough to keep folks indoors after dark. Add to that the shabby neighborhoods, boarded-up buildings, and the general air of hopelessness, and there's just nothing redeeming about this place.

At least the close proximity to some decent attractions and entertainment give the opportunity for respite. Nearby we have Kings Island amusement park, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Coney Island amusement park, Riverbend Music Center, Belterra Park Casino and Horsercing, and the Newport Aquarium.

It would be wonderful to see some new life injected into Northbrook. It has the potential to be a nice little place. Read Less
