Quiet And Affordable Living Outside Chicago User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) North a Chicago is a nice quite town, the people are friendly, but the community is definitely to be to be considered “close-knit.” With that, the most attractive thing about the city is it’s affordable homes. My parents moved us here for that reason, compared to other small towns in the area, the prices are just right. We’re also pretty close to the Great Lakes Navy Base, and Six Flags is also in the area. The only gripe that I have so far is that the leadership of the city is lacking. Though, I see potential with the robust job market and the diverse number of people living in the area. There’s definitely room for growth here.

The only other thing I would add is to have a car. Stores and shops are not within walking distance, so a car would definitely help with daily needs. Read Less
