Surf, Waves, Amazing Seafood and More in Newport East, RI User Rating 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) In some ways, living in Newport East, RI, feels like being on vacation everyday. The area has lots of beaches and touristy attractions, that are lots of fun in the summer. In the winter months, it's quieter with a lot less to do. The area is historic, with many old homes, and mansions in the area. You can find plenty of things to do during the day, and the nightlife is thriving within a short drive of Newport, East. There is plenty for adults and children to do in this area. Newport's Easton Beach is just a few minutes drive. The area is great for swimming, surfing, fishing and more. If you enjoy wine, the Newport Vineyards are close by. If you're a fan of amazing seafood, you'll love the restaurants in the area.

There are plenty of jobs available, many of them in the sales, or service areas. However, a quick drive to Providence and surrounding areas, opens up many more possibilities. All in all Newport East has been a wonderful area to live in. I can't imagine having to leave it. Read Less
