Watching Fireworks All Year Long! User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) The reason I love living in New Smyrna Beach, Florida is because we can literally see and feel every rocket that blasts off from neighboring Cape Canaveral Space Station. The best areas in New Smyrna Beach are obviously the ocean, and in addition to the numerous beach parks, New Smyrna Beach has some of the quietest and cleanest beaches on the east coast. I can drive to Saint Augustine in an hour, or head inland and be at the Magic Kingdom in 45 minutes.

We have discount outlet malls along Interstate 95, and plenty of seafood restaurants along the coast. I live off the barrier island right on the Indian River, and there is never a shortage of fun outdoor activities to do each week. This area sees sunny skies most of the year. Read Less
