People from cultures all over the world come here to live in harmony. The schools are amazingly great and the community celebrations are beyond compare because they have th ...Read More at home spun atmosphere, not the "plastic" artificial events of other communities. Ours are free where other communities charge admission. Murphy has the small town charm, yet all the conveniences and features of of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex are only minutes away. The review posted my L.R. should be removed for two reasons. First, it's nearly a decade old and bears no resemblance to the community of today. Second, I was living in Murphy even back then, and what they wrote was not the Murphy of the time. It represents what Murphy may have been prior to the turn of the century. Read Less

SUV Police potrols are located on every corner, so please don't think about driving 1 mile over the speed limit. The houses are nice but they do not match the location, unless you like living down the street from cow pastures. Murphy is very undeveloped and the reputation is known for people who want a nice house but can only afford to live in cookie cutter houses in country land. Read Less
