Living here in Montgomery, IL has been a joy. I have lived here for more than twenty years and I have watched the city grow by leaps and bounds. I really love the comforts of my home and the fact that the hustle and bustle of Chicago and Aur ...Read More ora are minutes away. Here is Montgomery, IL the community sticks together and really cares about each other.

Some of the best areas are the parks and recreation center located near Fox River. This area is beautiful, with lush lands and plant life. The parks are not only enjoyable for family fun, but also for watching nature and wildlife. There are so many options when it comes to shopping, I can never decide if I want to go downtown are shop in the Village.

During the summer months here in Montgomery, there is always something going on to do. My friends and I often go to the local Fox Valley Park and enjoy free concerts. Every August we have the Annual Montgomery Fest. During the fest the community comes out to enjoy music, food, crafts, and car shows just to name a few things. I have enjoyed living here in Montgomery, IL. I love the shopping, the dining, and the many activities available to keep me and my friends busy. Read Less
