Schools are pretty good in Mitchellville, and the crime rate is low. It's a nice area to raise a family. There's a huge park in the community that offers all types of fun activities for children. Six Flags amusement park is about five minutes away from Mitchellville. Major retailers and popular grocery stores like Wegmans are nearby as well. Employment opportunities are available, but most people commute to the big cities.

One of the main roads that runs through the community is Enterprise Road. There are some beautiful, picturesque homes and land along this road. The community church can be found on this road. An equally popular megachurch is about five minutes away. Living in Mitchellville is very convenient for commuting from Interstate 495. Shopping is also one of the perks because there are so many in the immediate vicinity and neighboring communities. Read Less
