Mitchell has all of the small restaurants, fast food, and busines ...Read More ses needed to enjoy a comfortable life with everything that you could need or want in this small town. The schools here are decent and my kids have enjoyed the friendship they have developed with their classmates.

The best areas in Mitchell are around the Corn Palace area where there are lots of shops and other conveniences that families can enjoy. The housing market in Mitchell is decent and you can find reasonably priced houses and the market continues to grow and there are also a lot of opportunities for new construction around the city. Crime in Mitchell has been a problem, but the city is beginning to combat some of the criminal activity with increased police presence. That being said, Mitchell is a great place to live in and to raise a family. Read Less
