Minneola Florida: Fun Near Disney World 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I had fun experiences while living in Minneola Florida. The city is located in Lake County. Minneola is a part of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford Metropolitan area. Education here has high marks and people that are new to the area will not encounter problems locating viable employm ...Read More ent locally. Housing possibilities are low and the cost of living is extremely moderate. The neighborhoods are safe and secure. Weather is especially nice in Minneola.

Some of the best areas in Minneola Florida surround Waterfront Park located between East Avenue and Eighth Street. This area offers a tremendous amount of festivals, triathlons, and other competitions on a regular basis. The area is home to Champions Splash Park, which is great for families. There are bike trails, swimming, fishing and other recreational activities in the area. In addition, there is specialty dining and shopping nearby. It’s great that Orlando is a hop and skip away to broaden the scope of adventure and fun for kids and adults alike. Read Less
