There’s a lot of amenities I think can serve anyone thinking of moving here. For example, there are plenty of shops, stores, restaurants, gyms and schools to look at. Most of them are even within walking distant. If not in ...Read More terested in walking, there are quite a number of options for public transit. Most prominent, the bus and metro; you can call cabs as well, and with the distance between most thing fairly short, shouldn’t cost too much.

We ha e a mall in town as well, Security Mall, but there are others within about a 40 minute drive that are better, in my opinion. Anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

Maryland is better knownfor it’s sea food, so expect a number of decent restaurants focused on that. In addition to various other types of amenities like bowling, skating and laser tag. There’s a lot to do, but the only down fall is the snow. It can be harsh in the winters. Read Less
