But the good is when they get used to you they leave you alone. But this is very important what area in the city you live in. Here has NO night life. Has few bars that is good for locals. It has some nice restaurants and for a small city i can say it has great ones! You won't have any issue about grocery shopping or necessary items. In fact it's a very organized city about any necessary things that you need, like pharmacy, doctors, grocery stores, ....they are all just around the corner. But of course downtown area isn't nice and safe at all. But there are some great things about this city that i live in. It's a small city for those who don't like crowded. Cost of living is low. Tax is low. And this city is located in a very great location. It's called middletown and it is really in the middle of 4 major cities. You can easily communicate or work in dayton, hamilton, lebanon or Cincinnati. Middletown mostly is in Butler county but because of its location you are really part of 4 counties, That's what i love about this city and it deserve 4 stars !! Read Less
Middletown, Ohio - 33 Parks & Much More User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Apr 23, 2012) As a lifelong resident of Middletown, Ohio, I'm familiar with the sights and sounds of the town. For me, the city is composed of 50,000 citizens enjoying life together. Middletown has plenty to enjoy.

Anyone visiting the city should be sure to visit one of the 33 parks that are

Along with the simple pleasure of public parks, you'll find attractions nearby in Middletown, such as the U.S. Airforce museum. My family and I visit there each year and it never gets old. The sacrifices made by those in the airforce are documented fully, while the triumphs are celebrated. Not up for a trip to a museum? Our annual festivals might be more to your liking.

Each year Middletown hosts a Middletown International festival, where one country is chosen to be our theme for the year. The amount of fun that can be had sampling the food and history of another culture is unlimited. We're also proud of our Light Up Middletown lights display which is also featured annually.

With a population of a little over 50,000, Middletown is able to retain its small town atmosphere without skipping the luxuries of modern life. Our stores and restaurants are diverse enough to keep up with the times, while our small population enables us to feel like one big family here in Middletown, Ohio. If you haven't yet visited, we're always welcoming in tourists at any time of the year. Whether you travel here to sample a festival or just to get away from it all in a simpler, smaller town, you'll find that Middletown residents are friendly and welcoming to you.
