Living in East Memphis-Colonial-Yorkshire Memphis, TN User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Sep 06, 2012) I have lived in the general area of East Memphis-Colonial-Yorkshire Memphis, TN since I was born and have no immediate plans to move. The National Civil Rights Museum, Lorraine Motel would be my most visited attraction and would recommend it to anyone that is in the area and looking for History Museums, Specialty Museums, Historic Sites or Monuments and Statues. The Museum offers information about the Civil Rights Movement in America through private collections, exhibitions, research as well as educational programs. AutoZone Park is another place that is a "must visit" while in Memphis. The baseball park is a classic situated in downtown, along with very good food, facilities and friendly staff. The prices are very reasonable so this is an good choice for a family night at the AAA ballpark.

When you are hunger and looking for some good food you will want to take a stroll down to Beale Street and visit Blue City Cafe. The restaurant is known for their wonderful food and music. The Blue City Cafe offers slightly higher menu prices but it is well worth what you pay for your meal. Another place that tops my list of good places to eat is The Arcade Restaurant, located on South Main Street in Memphis. The restaurant has been in service since 1919 and is known for their reasonably priced menu and history. Read Less
