rhood goes out and has a good time, they are definitely driving home drunk. I used to live in one of the convenient, pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods right outside of Queens, and this neighborhood sits in stark contrast to where I came from. Public transit isn't as good as it is on other parts of Long Island, and there is no Long Island railroad stop for Medford. If you want to take the Long Island Railroad, the nearest stops are Ronkonkoma (to the west) and Yaphank (to the east).
The air is cleaner, the land is flatter and the place is less populated, which is good for people who place importance on those things. It is a relatively safe neighborhood with good schools.
