Living In Massapequa 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) The Massapequa area is defined rather loosely and includes a Massapequa town, the Park, and North and East Massapequa. The town, or towns, encompass the Massapequa school district which is one of the highest rated on the Island. There is also a wonderful preserve in the town with ...Read More hiking and bike paths. It are these features which make Massapequa unique on the island.

The main benefit for workers for living in Massapequa is the easy commute into Manhattan. The Massapequa station is on the Babylon line and is only an hour away. Most of the highest rated restaurants and high quality nightlife is a train ride away. However, Massapequa does have Sunrise mall and a wide range of restaurants on Merrick Road, Sunrise Highway, and Park Blvd, as well as on Hicksville and Broadway roads.

Massapequa is a great place to raise children and to hold a family. The great school district also supports the town's real estate prices and keeps the area safe and prosperous. Read Less
