Massapequa Park - The best town on the island User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Having lived in Massapequa Park for most of my life, I can say that I love it here. It is an incorporated village, but part of s larger community in Massapequa and shares a school district. The school district is one of the best on the island. There is a direct train line on the LIRR into Manhattan for commuters, and most work in the city, making the town a great commuter line. Along Park Blvd is a whole line of pubs and eateries that provide dining and nightlife. Examples of great dining options on Park Blvd are Jam, a brunch place, and Umbertos, a delicious pizza joint.

Massapequa Park has the Massapequa Preserve running through it, which has extensive hiking, fishing, and biking options, and is a great respite from suburban life. There is a playground and baseball field at Walker Park and a nice lake with ducks and geese.

Overall, Massapequa Park is a great place to live and raise children. Read Less
