Mason, Ohio: More than America's Playground 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) Mason, Ohio has often been called America's Playground because King's Island, Soak City, and Chateau Laroche all call Mason home. But Mason is so much more than just a playground, it is a place to call home. There are beautiful gardens and parks and nature reserves throughout the ...Read More area, there are amazing activities and literally always something to do, but what makes Mason awesome is the city itself. I love Mason, Ohio because the quality of life is wonderful. There are great people and great schools that help make the community so much more than a playground.

The restaurant scene and general nightlife are awesome. I like going to the Wildflower Cafe because of their healthy options and Bed and Breakfast style service. It feels like a legitimate break without even having to leave town. There is always a place to grab a beer and watch the game in Mason. There are many sports bars and fun places to take a load off with friends.

Mason is a lot of fun in the summer when all of the amusement parks are open and the weather is warm. It is a relaxing and friendly place to settle and have a family. Read Less
