I came here in mid-2014 to attend the University of Tennessee at Martin, a relatively small yet fairly-priced university that offers both four-year degrees and accredited master's degree programs. The University of Tenness ...Read More ee at Martin's business programs are fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), meaning the small-town school's degrees are substantially more valuable than those from non-accredited schools - and there are a lot of unaccredited universities.

The Grind Mac & Cheese Bar is a hot new restaurant famous for its extravagant milkshakes; make sure you plan ahead of time, as I've had to wait two hours for a spot at any of the casual dining restaurant's tables.

Martin's sense of community is outstanding, as its Southern sense of friendliness reverberates throughout its city lines. The nightlife in the city is unarguably lacking, as just two bars, Cadillac's and Slide 'n' Ride, make up Martin's entire nightlife scene. Shopping is limited to a handful of small businesses and Walmart, too. Read Less
