Manchester Connecticut: Shops, Beer and Grub! User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I actually like Manchester. It's definitely a working-class community; however, the city is undergoing some renovations which is really bringing some curb appeal to the downtown area.

...Read More mmon stores like JCPenney, American Eagle, Footlocker, Bath and Body Works, and many more. There’s also the Funny Bone comedy club if you’re looking for a good laugh.

There’s not a ton to do as far as nightlife, but you can fill your time with a selection of breweries, restaurants, and the new talk-of-the-town Dave & Buster’s. If you have more expensive taste, you may want to wonder east two miles into the adjacent town, South Windsor, and visit the upscale outdoor mall, Evergreen Walk. Airbnb is growing in popularity in Manchester, so if you’re thinking of dropping by to give it a try, you can find exceptional rates that will rival any nearby motel or hotel. Read Less
