Maitland, Florida: Close to Orlando, but Safe and Quiet 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I work at Disney and desperately wanted to live in a suburb close to Orlando so that I could have an easy commute, I am so glad that I chose to move here to Maitland, Florida. Maitland is a suburb of Orlando, so my drive to work isn’t that bad. So far, I have yet to find a down ...Read More side of living here.

Surprisingly, it is not completely outrageous to live here. The cost of living is comparable to the average local wage. You can buy a home here in Maitland, Florida for around 300,000 dollars. Living in Maitland, Florida gives you a great neighborhood that is safe and neighbors that help neighbors.

The best areas in Maitland, Florida are the multiple parks. Daily you can see people walking, running, and biking on the numerous paths and sidewalks that have been developed throughout the city.
