Not all its cracked up to be 4 rating By countryheart ( Jul 31, 2018) You have to living here for over a year I cannot say I hate the town but can't say I like it either. At first you look at it and fall in love with the quaintness of it. Then you see that southern hospitality is a joke. They must have referrals from your general practitioner even if you have Medicare that was a big surprise! Living in Lexington, SC is a joy! The food is what matters, but the beautiful greenery found anywhere in Carolina is a charm. The best areas in Lexington are anywhere with a BBQ pit, but most of the great restaurants aren't too far off Highway 379. Lake Murray is also big and beautiful, so don't miss it. Read Less
