This town is such a joke! 0.5 rating By Anonymous ( Feb 19, 2020) Small town living an hour south of Nashville. Greats great right? Guess again! The towns website raves about how great it is to live here and so I came. My experience has been anything but great. The town is in a dilapidated state with a growing drug epidemic. The police are any ...Read More thing but helpful. Complaints by residents are not resolved which requires multiple complaints about the same issue still with no resolve. I have never seen so many accounts of animal neglect and cruelty in my life. Dogs tied up outside barking for hours on end. No one does a thing. There are not many new businesses coming into town, so if you want to reach civilization you have to drive out! The only nice thing I have to say is that the guys on the fire department are very nice and helpful. I would not recommend anyone moving here, EVER! Read Less

No jobs, no decent housing, just a bunch of sad scenery to look at. It's such a shame too because this used to be a pretty great little place. One of the best areas in the state of Tennessee, I always used to say.

There's not even a lot to do for entertainment around here. There's Lucky Ladd Farms, a little zoo with some activities for the kids, Victory Fun Park, Higher Pursuits rafting and kayaking, and the Bonneroo music festival once a year. Other than that, we just hit one of the few local bars and hang out and talk about how sad things are around here now. Read Less
