Lakewood, OH - Born and Raised 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( Jul 21, 2011) I am originally from Lakewood, Ohio. Born and raised there, I grew up on Chestnut Street. A small street lined with trees and single family homes. I went to the Lakewood Elementary School until the 5th grade. We walked to school everyday. I would meet my friends a few houses up t ...Read More he street and we would all walk together. My fathers job relocated us to Pennsylvania at the end of 5th grade. When we moved, I missed my friends dearly. We still had relatives in Lakewood so we got to visit 2 times a year. We would all meet at the farmers market which was located near our old home. I will never forget the taste of the apples. A farmer would always give each one of us an apple he grew on his farm.

Now since I am older and have a family of my own, we visit Lakewood usually once a year. The first place we go is the farmers market. The apples still taste the same and who knows, maybe we will move there some day. Read Less
