place my permanent home. But a skyrocketing crime rate, disappearing jobs, neighborhoods surrounding me that are beginning to look more and more like slums everyday, and people who don't even seem to be alive but are just going through the motions have changed my mind and I will be moving away from this depressing place just as quickly as I can.
If you do find yourself stuck here or passing through, at least try to do something enjoyable and visit the Saint Lucie County Aquarium, Safari Golf and Games, the National Navy UDT SEAL Museum, or the McKee Botanical Gardens. Find yourself a nice little spot on a beach somewhere, grab a drink, and give a toast to what this place could be.
